Refresher Training for Fire Fighters in Activities of Medium Fire Risk

To provide the necessary updates to workers designated as firefighters in companies classified as medium-risk as provided for in Article 37 paragraph 9 of Legislative Decree 81/08 and the provisions of the Ministry of the Interior Fire Department.

The course is intended for workers assigned to serve as fire prevention officers in medium fire-risk activities.

- Fire and fire prevention:
- Principles of combustion and fire;
- Extinguishing substances;
- The combustion triangle;
- The main causes of a fire;
- Risks to people in case of fire;
- Main precautions and measures to prevent fires.
- Fire protection and procedures to be adopted in case of fire:
- The main fire protection measures;
- Exodus routes;
- Procedures to be taken when covering a fire or in case of an alarm;
- Evacuation procedures;
- Relations with the fire department;
- Extinguishing equipment and systems;
- Alarm systems;
- Safety signage;
- Emergency lighting.
- Practical exercises regarding the use of portable fire extinguishers, hose reels, fire hydrants and personal protective equipment.
