Presentation

The English for Nursing Professions course is designed to create or develop in nursing professionals the linguistic-communication skills in the four fundamental language skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing) to interact in national and international clinical settings.

The course is modeled on the "patient-centered" criterion with topics related to the medical and nursing fields.

Classes (lasting 3 hours each) will be held in person at SafesPro's headquarters at 5 Amphitheater Street, Taranto, on Fridays (afternoons) and Saturdays (mornings), for about 2 1/2 months.

The course aims to make the professional autonomous in communicating and interacting with patients, colleagues and/or referring physicians in work settings where English is central or a priority. The course covers topics essential to the nursing profession, offering specific but easily acquired language. Adequate space is provided for in-depth study of English functional to the professional profile.

The study has industry topics, linguistic accuracy, appropriate "fluency" and communicative dynamics as its supporting structures. The expected level is B.1 according to the CEFR scale.
