Fire prevention, firefighting and emergency management officer (high risk)

To train specialized figures through the development of skills aimed at the effective management of critical incidents (fires and emergencies) with a view to promoting health and safety in the company to develop the knowledge necessary to hold the position of firefighting team member in accordance with Ministerial Decree 10/03/98.

The course is aimed at workers intended to perform the role of fire prevention, firefighting emergency management in high-risk companies

- Principles of combustion and fire;
- Extinguishing substances;
- The combustion triangle;
- The main causes of a fire;
- Risks to people in case of fire;
- Fire protection and procedures to be adopted in case of fire:
- The main fire protection measures;
- Exodus routes;
- Procedures to be adopted in case of fire;
- Evacuation procedures;
- Relations with the fire department;
- Extinguishing equipment and systems;
- Alarm systems;
- Safety signage and emergency lighting.
- Practical exercises regarding the use of portable fire extinguishers, hose reels, fire hydrants and personal protective equipment.
