In the contemporary world, the processing of data, images, and information on a digital basis is becoming more and more extensive: the realization of any high-tech artifact cannot be separated from a per se technologically advanced management of the information component. The pervasiveness of digital systems has reached, such a high level that information technology now ends up disappearing in the eyes of the users themselves. Therefore, information technology, in continuous evolution, increasingly manifests itself as a very important factor of development, since it plays a leading role, for example, in data processing and management, to the point of proposing itself as an irreplaceable tool for the realization of advanced technology products, as in the case of automation of the manufacturing and industrial sector or the promotion of corporate branding or, today especially, in the mobile telephony sector.

Importantly, the course is designed to be accessible to all and includes sign language support.
