According to the official CEFR guidelines, at the level B2 one is able to:

Understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, understand technical discussions about one's field of specialization.
Interact with a fluency and spontaneity that make natural interaction with native speakers possible without effort on either side.
Produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of topics and explain a point of view on a specific topic by providing the pros and cons of various options.

Knowledge of a community language is indispensable in the activities work, but also as a personal baggage of skills.
